Household Hazardous Waste & Used Oil in Lubbock
Hazardous household products should never go in regular garbage dumpsters. Lubbock Solid Waste Management provides specific drop-off options for these materials at the Citizen Convenience Stations.
⚖ Used Oil, Antifreeze & Oil Filters — Free at All Stations
Used motor oil, used antifreeze, and used oil filters are accepted free of charge at all four Citizen Convenience Stations during regular operating hours (Mon–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM). No appointment needed. This keeps these fluids out of storm drains and groundwater.
🔥 Other Hazardous Waste & Electronics

The Caliche Canyon Landfill (8425 N. Avenue P) and West Texas Regional Disposal Facility (17304 N.
