- Do not use the trash/recycling cart for yard waste; place it separately at the curb.
📦 Bulk Items, Appliances & Tires
- Bulk (furniture, carpets, cut wood): place within ≤5 ft of the curb; pieces ≤5 ft (treated wood ≤6 ft); wrap glass. Schedule may vary by area and item type — confirm in the lookup tool.
- Appliances & tires: scheduling is required (curbside) via 630-CITY or the MyJax portal.
⚠️ Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) & E-Waste
Duval County residents can drop off HHW and e-waste at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 2675 Commonwealth Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32254 — open Tue–Sat 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; periodic mobile events are also available.

- The city only adjusts collections on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There are no changes for New Year’s Day. Check the annual notice.
